Then we had our last visit from our midwife, Leigh
It was SO great to see her one last time and SO sad to say good bye. It kind of made me want to get pregnant right away so I can have her stay in our lives and deliver our next kid. KIND OF not really though :) I wish the picture could speak and you can see how amazing she is and how she empowers and encourages moms so they leave feeling like the best mom in the world! She was such a blessing to our family and to me. We are going to miss her!
Then Sam sent me the most fun text ever: He was taking a picture of Peter from Breakfast!!! Who is Peter from Breakfast you ask? He is my MOST FAVORITE newscaster in NZ. He makes the news here doable. Breakfast is their ONLY morning news show and it is more like a Regis and Kelly meets Fox News show, but still it's all we got! Peter usually delivers the world news and for some reason I have loved him. When Sam text me today I, of course, needed to stop by and see "Sam" since the shoot was at the Mount. HEHEHEHEHE
I was like a giddy school girl and can't even tell you why? He isn't anything out of the norm but some how he has become my TV friend as I watched him everyday before work and now every morning durning Max's morning feed. I went and said 'Hi to Sam' and found myself feeling nervous and I even put on lip gloss! WHAT THE HECK?! I have issues. :) I knew I wouldn't even get to talk to Peter but for some reason I was so excited. Maybe I have been gone from LA too long but this made my day and when Breakfast starts up again in January I will be so happy to see Peter on the news and know I got to meet him. (They take a month break....see it's not really a news show if they take a month break! And furthermore, there is now no news show at all on in the mornings until the middle January...."not weird just different")
Sam taking a picture of Peter while the reporter interviews him about a Half Iron Man he is doing for charity in January.
