Our family at Santa Monica
Maxers was loving the sand
Such a serious little man sometimes

So fun to hang out with Kerri and Karis for the day. Maxers loved watching Karis and trying to play with her.

Maxers thought she was pretty cool!

This was Maxer's favorite spot at night :)

There is another smattering of pictures! MORE TO COME!!!

Happenings

We have been busier than the blog has been for sure! In fact, I told Sam the other day I feel like my full time job has become keeping Max and my social calendar. Surprise surprise :)

We have had play dates most days, music, swimming, walks, and of course Starbucks visits to our favorite girls.

This is Max's little friend Taila from Play group. He LOVES her and I always getting a kick out of how excited he gets to see her and play with her.

This is a blurry picture but I had to put it up. This is classic Max with Taila...always trying to kiss and cuddle her.

Maxers loves taking walks down to Pilot Bay with Dad. He thinks he is pretty much king of the world on Daddy's shoulders.

We took Max on a long walk Sunday and met Tom and Bella (his Boxer who is much like his little girl :)

Uncle Tom playing with Max. Max wasn't too into the cold water, but loves hanging out with Uncle Tom

Pretty much Max in a picture..."don't hold me close Mom, I want to see out!"

Dad always knows just how to make Maxers happy on walks!!

Our social calendar has been pretty full as of late, mostly because I love being busy and love being out about. Sometimes it's due to the fact that I am still absolutely transitioning to figuring how to do this mom thing. And other times it is just exactly who I am. We got done with our massive walk down to Tom's and ran into Sam's family once we got back down to the Mount. I was all ready to go out to coffee with them and Sam was ready to go home and eat lunch. He just laughed and said to me, "We just were out for two hours, playing on the beach, seeing people and yet you are still ready for more." YEP. :)

Starbucks Regular

What can I say? We love our Starbucks girls and they love Maxers! It is one of our highlights of the day. Funny how a local coffee shop really can become a part of your community. Max thinks he's big stuff now that they even take him behind the counter in the office. My curious boy loves new places!

6 Months Old

Maximillian is Six Months OLD!

He's HAPPY. He's selectively smiley. He is CURIOUS. He is adventurous. He can communicate without words. He LOVES his daddy. He only gives kisses to his Momma. He loves his play group. He is CHATTY CHATTY at home. He laughs a lot. He Loves kids. He adores his uncle James and Uncle Tom. He is crazy every time he sees grandma and grandpa on Skype. He is wiggly. Let me rephrase that. HE IS VERY WIGGLY! He knows what he wants. He loves rough housing. The mornings he is the silliest. He is a lot of work, but SO worth it!

Blog Silence & Mother's Day

We are home. We have tons of pictures. We have all been sick. More pictures and updates are coming once I can get some moments to get my stuff together.

For now here are some Mother's Day Photos...

One of my most favorite things in the world is to wake up, throw on clothes, get a starbucks and walk with my family to the beach. Ironically, I love it even more in the winter when you can bundle up and go see the stillness of the beach and the massive waves crashing. I know, there is actually a positive comment attatched to me having to do with winter! I think I may have turned a corner and actually might not loathe winter here like I did. I can see good again in it. Baby. Steps.

Therefore my Mother's Day gift was just that. Morning walk with my family. LOVE.

Off we go. Max is thrilled, can you tell?

Our sweet little family

This one just made me smile because they both are just looking at me while humoring me with morning photos.
