First Athletic Ribbon

Today Max got his first of many athletic achievements! He got his "good job swimming on your back" ribbon.

He was pretty stoked. And evidently the dad I chatted to all through the swim lesson is a famous Cricket player here. Hehehe

Train Ride at the Gardens

We have lived by the Gardens forever now but have never taken the little train that goes through the Gardens.  Monday was a holiday and dad wasn't feeling good and it wasn't freezing! After my run I took Max to the Gardens for a bike ride and we ended up on the train! So much fun. I love doing things with this kid. He is so expressive and thankful!

Turkey

Max was awfully quiet the other day while we were baking cookies. I called for him with no response. I figured he was playing. A little time passed and I called again. I heard muffled giggling. I kept putting cookies on the cookie sheet but continued to hear giggling. I finally headed towards the giggling and found this turkey behind our bug share licking the wooden spoon that broke and was already in the trash!!!! He went quietly behind me snuck it out & hid while he enjoyed his spoils. I love this kid!

Teddy Bear Hospital

We headed back to the Teddy Bear Hospital again this year. Woody was hurt. Puss in Boots was hurt and our Starbucks bear was hurt again this year. Max had a good time and the doctors were great that looked after his hurt friends. And the ambulance even came this year & Max loved spending time pretending to drive & strapping his teddy in.

Snow

At least it snowed. Sigh. If it's going to be this cold before winter officially started I guess it's good it snowed.
