Maybe Max likes Fireworks

Friday in NZ is Guy Fawkes Day. What is that you ask?

Here is a simple definition:
November 5, observed in England to commemorate the foiling of the attempt led by Guy Fawkes in 1605 to blow up the king and members of Parliament in retaliation for increasing repression of Roman Catholics in England.

Which is commemorated with Fireworks! And Kiwi's make fun of the 4th of July WHY??!?!?! But I LOVE LOVE LOVE fireworks! Maybe, just maybe Maximillian likes fireworks too and is holding out to make sure he gets Fireworks EVERY year on his birthday :)

AND

Max might just be waiting for his Uncle Mike to get here!!! YEP, my brother is flying through NZ and will have a couple day layover next week!!! I am SOOOOO excited and thankful to him and my BEAUTIFUL Sister in law (who might be a little jealous that Mike gets to hold Max first!) and my nephew who will wait an extra few days to see him after he has been gone so long. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Holly and Tyler! To have my family here is such an unexpected surprise. Max's uncles are SO ready for him to be here. Sam's brother Tom and Mike have both been so excited about Max's arrival. I was laying in bed thinking about how connected they both already seem to be to Max after Tom making me promise I would call or text right away because he was going out of town about an hour away for 2 days. He wanted to be able to jump right in the car and come home! SO FUNNY, as I laid there thinking about Tom and Mike, the phone rang and it was Mike asking if it was okay to come for the layover. WOO HOO!!!

We will see what little Max decides to do. If I don't have him by the 9th it looks like Leigh will schedule me to be induced, so we are just waiting and wondering when we get to hold that little turkey for the first time!

  2. For Esther, all it took was the threat of inducing and she decided to come out on her own. I was overdue with 3 of my 4 and that 4th one had more health problems than the other 3 combined, so my advice is to just let him hang out in there as long as possible. Enjoy those last few days of just being a couple - go enjoy a late movie for the last time in a long time :)
