It all happened PRETTY fast. Jen called Sam at 11 and he came home from work and we went to the hospital. I went straight into pretty engaged labor and never really had that "minute" long break between contractions after 1ish or 2ish. Sometimes I only had 10 seconds. He's like his Mommy...let's just get it done fast!
At one point his heart raced and the Medical Doctor had to come in and they almost handed us over to the medical team...I can remember saying, 'I am such a good American having a Doctor." Which makes me laugh so hard now! In the end it was fine and I delivered Max at 7:26pm on November 6!!! Sam was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! He was such a rock for me. He is an AMAZING DADDY & HUSBAND!!!
He weighed 7 pounds and was 52cm long (which my mom said was 20 inches, I didn't do the conversion but Grammy did)
We are doing great and the little man is sleeping and feeding great.
Here are two pictures from the hospital and Sam has taken more since we came home yesterday. I promise we will put more up soon :)
IT'S PRETTY FUN AND AMAZING!!! What an incredible dream. We are LOVING being Mommy and Daddy!!
yay, yay, yay!
