We had such a great 4th of July - Southern Hemisphere style. No swimsuits, no fireworks, no BBQ, BUT tons of laughing, family and overeating!
I tried some cake pops and realize why they are so stinkin' expensive! So time consuming, but very yummy! We had hot dogs and chips and salad and just sat around in our warm living room with the heater on talking and laughing for a few hours. Max even stayed up late to play with everyone. He was giddy with excitement with all the people here. And true to American Holiday Form Sam and I went to bed feeling sick we ate so much food. Ahhhhh Good Ol' American tradition!
Sam's sister Rosie and Tom's girlfriend Nicky. Max was loving eating Nicky's necklace
The men.
Please take note of my husbands face!
Max LOVES playing with Uncle James
Nana bought Max a 4th of July present - A flag car! HE LOVED IT. Chewed it all night.
Happy American family! Sam was such a sport and made it such a fun memory and night for me! I think I said about 20 times that night, "I love family dinners." (I love Max's unimpressed face in the picture)
Me and my American Boy!
