Rugby!!!!

Sam took us to the rugby game tonight! It was so fun! The new stadium was so cool and Max had so much fun! He enjoyed it the whole time.

I loved the team from the area we used to lived but I made the transition tonight. I have two favorite teams now.

The Highlanders, our new team, was playing the number one team. And they WON! It was a great second half! Max loved yelling! Especially since we are constantly telling him to be quiet in the hotel.

Funny cultural moment :: I'm telling Max to yell. Then to yell louder. The Kiwi parents behind us, "Josh, sshhh be quiet." as their little boy yells. The little boy's response, "It IS rugby!" Their response, "It doesn't matter. Don't be loud." Hahahahahaha. I laughed so hard! Only in New Zealand would a parent tell their kid to be quiet at a sporting event! Oh Max your mom will never be quiet, especially at sports! I'll he the only loud mom in the stands when you are playing! You will hear me, don't you worry!

Max & I tried a Playcentre here. It's a parent led type of preschool. We didn't really like it but Max had a good morning at least. His favorite thing here was sweeping! Ha!!

Then his current favorite thing in our little hotel room (which is smaller than my college dorm rooms!) is the canister of prunes. He is so funny! He loves dumping them out. Picking them up. Shaking them. Taking them all over the room. At least he's happy!!

Library Fun & Mainly Music

Max & I have fell in love with the cool library here! They have a great kid section & have a music class one day & story time another. This was Max's first story time and he did great!

We also tried a Mainly Music this week. We had to go outside of the city. Weird University students don't have young kids :) We loved it! I think they need a loud American mom for sure though.

Grammy & Grampie got Max his first backpack. He loves it and wears it every day!
